-Use low detail to get rid of the annoyance of roofs.
-Use low weight stuff so you dont need as many energy pots.

Ok, this is the way I am planning on getting 99 Smithing. This method is for the average player, like me, who does not have much money.

First, make iron arrowtips until level 60. Then use the blast furnace and make mithril bolts. Once you reach level 73, make adamant bolts until 99. It is a good source of xp and you make money along the way.
